Since October 2008, under a seizure it obtained in Lisa's failed 1999 suit, Villamorey has held the dividends due to Lisa on its one-third stake, and the courts have held Villamorey itself to be their depositary. In December 2018 the court paid Villamorey's US$894,718 award out of those dividends, finding that they far exceeded it, and said nothing about the rest. In December 2021, on Lisa's enforcement action, the court ordered Villamorey to pay Lisa US$51.6 million. Villamorey's appeal does not suspend the order, no payment appears in the record, and Lisa says the collection has stalled. Lisa's suits for an accounting and for damages, against Villamorey and its representative Juan Luis Bosch Gutiérrez, are still before the courts.
